Executive Director
Eliot Branch
Eliot Branch is the founder and director of Mekong Multiply. He grew up in Missouri, dreaming of playing professional baseball until God turned his life around through involvement in campus ministry on a university campus in the early 90s. After completing a master’s degree in missions at Lincoln Christian Seminary, Eliot moved to Southeast Asia less than two months after the September 11th terrorist attacks in the USA. Eliot met and married his wife, Mali, in his country of service, learned to speak the language fluently, shared the gospel, planted simple churches, established businesses, and developed resources for the multiplication of disciples and churches among the unreached. After serving full-time in Southeast Asia for 15 years, Eliot moved to Louisville, Kentucky, in 2016 and launched Mekong Multiply, which began as an initiative and vision to mobilize efforts to reach unreached people groups in Southeast Asia. In 2020, despite the Covid pandemic, Eliot launched Mekong Multiply as its own organization to better facilitate the mission efforts and to enhance global partnerships.
Eliot is the author of The Faith Road, A True Story of Peril and Mission in Southeast Asia. In addition to leading Mekong Multiply, Eliot is also an active instructor in the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course. Eliot and Mali have three children and are members of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
Eyes on Jesus,
Eyes on the Unreached.
"He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
2 Peter 3:9b
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."
Matthew 24:14
Connecting these two verses shows us that God’s eyes are on the unreached, and if our eyes are on him, then our eyes will also be drawn to the unreached. We, too, desire that none perish but that all hear the good news and have an opportunity to repent and be saved.
